The Lay Servant Ministry Basic Course is designed to equip new church leaders and renew current leaders. It is the foundation course for other leadership training.
This course covers the 3 core categories of LSM: Leadership, Caring & Communication. It also emphasizes ministry in daily life and sharing faith stories.
This is an Advanced Course as well as a Lay Speaker Course. This course will provide an overview of the structure and organization of the United Methodist Church. This course qualifies as one of the courses required in the Lay Speaker designation track.
Schedule:
- Registration & Breakfast – 7:30 AM
- Course Instruction – 8:00 AM & 12:00 PM
- Working Lunch – 12:00PM – 1:00 PM
- Course Instruction – 1:00PM – 6:00 PM
