What You Will Learn

• Cleaning out flood-damaged homes and installing tarps
• Removing debris safely and efficiently
• Providing a caring, Christian presence to those affected
• Stabilizing and securing homes in the early days after a disaster
• Working effectively and compassionately with survivors and teammates

Led by a UMCOR-certified instructor, this hands-on, in-person training equips you to serve during the critical early days after a disaster.

Who Can Join

• Men and women, age 18 and older
• Anyone committed to making a difference when it matters most

Cost & Registration

• Cost: $15 (covers your official ERT shirt and badge)
• Registration deadline: Wednesday, June 18, 2025
• Requirements:
  • Background check for all participants
  • ID badge showing affiliation with UMCOR and the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church
