Southeast District UMC Annual Church Conference | October 19, 2025

All church members are invited to attend our Annual Church Conference on Sunday, October 19th at 4:00 PM at:
Cason UMC – 342 N Swinton Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444. The Church Conference is an opportunity to worship with The Gathering Place and our greater District UMC Church family.

• Where: Cason UMC – 342 N Swinton Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444
• Parking: Please park across the street at Trinity Lutheran Church (the church has given us permission to park there): Trinity Lutheran Church, 400 North Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444. Located at the corner of Lake Ida & Swinton Avenue. Use the traffic light to cross the road.

This is an important gathering for our church family as we come together to:

• Vote on the Pastor’s Salary for 2026
• Vote on Nominations of Leaders
• Affirm and Vote on Two Candidates for Candidacy: Marcie Dennis & Billy Annis
• Annual Renewal of Continuing Candidates: Hannah Hunter & Kevin Peck
• Annual Renewal of The Certified Lay Servants

In addition to these key votes, this gathering is part of a larger effort to strengthen connection and unity across the Southeast District. During our time together, we will:

• Worship Together and experience God’s presence in a fresh way
• Share in Holy Communion, served by pastors from across the district
• Support Your Church’s Mission by participating in the voting of your church’s charge conference forms
• Build Connection with fellow United Methodists through prayer, conversation, and fellowship

Who Should Attend:
All clergy, church leaders, candidates for ministry (new and certified), and lay servant ministers are expected to attend.

This will be held as a church conference in accordance with 248, meaning all professing members of the local church present may vote. Everyone from our congregation is welcome and encouraged to attend.
