DESCRIPTION:Temple Beth David invites the community to its 14th Annual Yom HaShoah Vigil of Remembrance. Throughout the day\, participants will read aloud the names of Holocaust martyrs\, honoring the lives and futures that were lost. \nThe vigil will begin with words of remembrance from clergy and the lighting of six memorial candles. Members of the community are invited to take part by reading names\, listening\, reflecting\, and adding names from their own personal remembrances. \nThis year’s program will also feature a special presentation by Oren B. Stier\, PhD\, Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Holocaust and Genocide Studies Program at Florida International University.
